About Us

Icy Opportunity is a Las Vegas based community built for underground artists, created and run by builtasf.

Founded in 2025, Icy Opportunity was started with one goal in mind: give artists a real space to express themselves and be seen. The idea came from built’s own experience performing live in late 2024. After paying for shows that didn’t even record his sets, he saw a huge gap. In a world where content is everything, moments were being lost.

So he did something about it.

Using his own money from working in sales, built invested in a JBL speaker with a mic, lighting, and cameras. On March 22, he brought the vision to life with the first event, The Bowl. It was free, featured 12 artists, included three camera angles, a bonfire, and even free tacos.

From there, he kept going. Eight events throughout 2025, all driven by a genuine love for music, artists, and community.

At Icy Opportunity, it does not matter if you have 10 streams or 10,000. What matters is that you have something to share and the right attitude. Every artist deserves a platform, and every performance deserves to be captured.

Looking ahead, the vision only grows. Built plans to expand into engineering, content creation, and anything else that helps artists move forward in their careers.
